National Corporate Training Pty Ltd
National Corporate Training is the largest provider of Vocational Education and Training in Western Australia, delivering 8,470 student/certificates this year in High Schools and colleges and providing in-house  training ranging from corporate industry senior management to training the unemployed. We offer training to Business in the areas of AutoCad, Microsoft Office products, Frontline Management (just signed a deal with one of the largest Engineering companies in Australia), Financial products such as MYOB amongst a host of other areas. 

We also work with over 50 Child Care Centres throughout the metropolitan area and have over 1 million dollars worth of Government (Federal and State) training contracts in IT, Hospitality, Child Care and Training and Assessment.

Career Centre
This centre provides information to anyone seeking new learning experiences, a career change or assistance in looking for a job.

The Career Centre is the key entry point for access which is about opening doors to the many training and employment options available today. So if you have any questions about the sort of career you might pursue and the training you need to do it, you are welcome to visit the Centre. Here you will find people who can talk to you about what steps to take and printed material that can help to put you on the right track.

Staff at the Centre are available to discuss your options, or you may use the other resources available such as OZJAC, an easy to use computer program that provides information on jobs and courses offered by TAFE, universities and registered private providers.

Information is available about TAFE and other forms of training such as apprenticeships and traineeships, short courses and bridging courses. You may also find out about the help that is available to you when you are seeking employment.

You will find information about training and further education courses, particularly TAFE; how to get any other qualifications and skills recognized and how to go about looking for work or making a career change.

Australian Technical College    
Who We Are
The Australian Technical College – Perth South (ATC – Perth South) is an educational and Vocational institute unlike any other. ATC – Perth South is a new and different style of educational college that integrates Year 11 and 12 education with work readiness and on-the-job training. Students work towards their Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE), while they learn vital real world skills, go to work and earn while they earn.

·            The college has been designed as an independent senior secondary college offering academic and vocational   educational programs to Years 11 and 12 students

·            Strong links with local industry and community
·            The ability to personalise individual learning programs
·            Students will be able to learn in a work-friendly environment
·            They will receive individual mentoring and pastoral care, to enhance their performance and support their learning objectives
·            The opportunity to complete their Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE)
·            Depending on the work release pattern, at the end of the two-year learning program, students are likely to have completed 30 weeks of paid work, a minimum of one year of their apprenticeship and therefore may be accelerated into the second year of their apprenticeship
·            College graduates will have a competitive edge when seeking employment
·            Business and life skills subjects will be included in the course

Apprenticeships and Traineeships
The Apprenticeship and Traineeship website provides an overview of the apprenticeship and traineeship system in Western Australia. www.apprenticentre.wa.gov.au

The Department of Education and Training updates this website regularly to ensure it is relevant and current.

The website is aimed to provide information of value to jobseekers, apprentices, trainees, employers, Registered Training Organisations, Group Training Schemes and other parties interested in the apprenticeship and traineeship system.

Jobseekers can find out how to become an apprentice or trainee and search through a list of available apprenticeships and traineeships to determine what apprenticeship or traineeship they would be interested in completing. There is information regarding their obligations as a trainee or apprentice and financial assistance that may be available to them.

Current Apprentices and Trainees can obtain information from the website that might assist them with any questions they may have during the course of their traineeship or apprenticeship. This site also has some useful links and contact details of organisations involved in apprenticeships and traineeships that may assist them.

Employers can find out how to take on an apprentice or trainee, what their obligations are and information regarding the financial incentives that may be available to them.

Australian Apprenticeship Centre are contracted by the Australian government through the Department of Education, Science and Training to provide a comprehensive range of services to employers and to the apprentices and trainees they employ.  They provide a one-stop-shop for employers who currently employ apprentices and trainees, who have made a decision to employ, or are seeking advice and information about apprenticeships and traineeships.

Small Business Centre - Stirling
The Small Business Centre - Stirling (SBC) is one of 26 Small Business Centres in Western Australia. It has been established to assist potential and existing small business proprietors develop a business or to expand an already successful venture.

The SBC services the Malaga, Ballajura, Beechboro, Noranda suburbs. Clients of the SBC can meet with one of our small business facilitators at the Balcatta Premises, on site or at locations in Malaga. Clients can also duscuss issues via email or over the phone.

The SBC provides business people with free, independent, confidential, practical assistance and other support in:
     Business planning
     Finance
     Marketing
     Market research, and
     Trade and government regulation information
The SBC is also a gateway to private and public support programs for small business and administers the Small Business Smart Business training vouchers on behalf of the Department of Education and Training.
