Regional Profile for Perth's Eastern Region

The Eastern Metropolitan Regional Council (EMRC) takes great pleasure in announcing the creation of a regional profile for Perth’s Eastern Region.  Perth’s Eastern Region includes the Town of Bassendean, City of Bayswater, City of Belmont, Shire of Kalamunda, Shire of Mundaring and City of Swan.

The Regional Profile provides accurate, easy to understand and use information drawn from the 2006 Census of Population and Housing, including trends since 1991.

Information in the Regional Profile will prove vital for community groups and organisations, businesses, industry and government agencies who seek to understand, plan, develop and deliver products and services in Perth's Eastern Region. 

The Regional Profile is easy to use and information can be transferred to other formats for reports, funding submissions, business plans and presentations. 

The Regional Profile will be updated annually as the Australian Bureau of Statistics make revised projections available.  

The Regional Profile will enable a greater understanding of the needs and characteristics of Perth’s Eastern Region and strengthen the capacity of EMRC and member Councils to advocate for vital infrastructure and services.

The Regional Profile is an online interactive tool that can be accessed from a link on the EMRC Home Page www.emrc.org.au. 

The Regional Profile builds on Community Profile tools created by the City of Belmont, Shire of Mundaring and City of Swan.  Links to these Community Profiles are available from the Regional Profile.
